In Fear - independent film

 
 
In Fear is an independent movie that has been made on an extremely low budget compared to more well known movies such as Thor. The director of the film is Jeremy Lovering, who is known for making TV dramas such as Sherlock. Big Talk Productions are the company behind the movie who help out financially. This production company are also independent who also fund for TV series'.
 
On social media sites, there have been a number of advertisements. There have been YouTube trailers and recommendations on suggestion boxes online. Despite having a low budget, they still have their own website and have also advertised on a Facebook page as well as a twitter feed. Every movie production has a distributor and for this particular movie, it was Studio Canal. Cinema's have also shown this movie in their screens in places such as; Cineworld, Showcase, Vue and Odeon. Though may not have shown it as frequent as mainstream movies.

In Fear was filmed in the UK, Bodmin, Moor, Cornwall. The first ever release was a small screening in the USA on January 20th 2013 however, it was officially released in the UK on the 15th of November, 2013. While filming, they used an Arri Alexa camera and a Canon 7D, Go Pro.

Notes:
- Principal photography began in September 012 in Surrey, England with filming continuing in Iceland and London, before wrapping up in December 2012.
- Thor was converted into 3D in post-production.
- Thor: The Dark World premiered at the Odeon Leicester Square in London on October 22, 2013.
- In April 2013, Marvel released the first trailer for Thor.
- In July at the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con International, Hiddleston introduced footage from the film to the audience in character as Loki.
- In July, Gameloft announced that a mobile video game titled, Thor the Dark World: The Official Game, would be released in conjunction with the release of the film in November.
- In August 2013, Marvel released a second trailer on Youtube as part of Geek Week. This trailer was simply the same as the previous trailer released with the only difference of it being 150 seconds long as opposed to the previous trailer being only 106 seconds long.
- August 2013, Disney announced plans to promote the film with an attraction at Disneyland, the attraction would be called 'Treasure of Asgard'. It is scheduled to open on November 1, 2013 and will feature displays of Asgardian relics and transport guests to Odin's throne room, where they will be greeted by Thor.
